Chloe has been in foster for awhile, but would love to find her forever home.  She prefers long naps and short walks.  Chloe is crate trained and housetrained.  She enjoys car rides, is easy to walk on leash, and loves her vet visits.  Chloe needs leadership, as she can be a stubborn girl.  She prefers to be the only pet in the home.

7/06/15

Chloe is still waiting for her forever home.  Her foster mom adores her and doesn't understand why this girl hasn't been adopted yet.  She is a laid back girl who enjoys her walks, hanging out, or going for car rides.  Chloe is completely housetrained.  She does fine in a crate, although she doesn't need to be crated.  Chloe loves to fetch tennis balls or to roll in the grass.  She would love to be your only fur animal, as she has lots of love to offer.  Apply today for Chloe!

Do you enjoy quiet evenings on the couch?  Short walks in the yard? Rolling in the grass?  Laughing at pure silliness?  If you have no other pets, Chloe may be the girl for you.  Apply today for this special English Bulldog!

7/14/14

Included are a few new pictures of Chloe.  She enjoys going for walks, taking car rides, and hanging out with her humans.  She is a laid back girl, but does enjoy playing with the ball.  Chloe is house trained and crate trained.  Every time she is outside, she loves to roll in the grass.  Chloe is a silly and fabulous girl just waiting for her family to find her!

Chloe is still waiting for her forever home.  Her foster mom adores her and thinks she is a wonderful Bully girl! Chloe is a very laid back girl who spends most of her time just hanging out.  She enjoys her daily walk as long as you keep it short.  You know these Bully girls don't like to walk too much.....they have naps to take!

Chloe loves going for car rides, playing fetch with her squeaky tennis balls, and loves her foster mom.  She likes to give kisses and hugs.  Chloe is a typical, stubborn English Bulldog with a big personality.  Please read about her breed to understand Chloe and her needs.  Thank you for considering Chloe - she hopes to find her forever family soon!

Chloe is such a ham!  Just look at her adorable mug.  Chloe is still looking for a home where she can be the main squeeze.  She prefers short walks and long naps.  Apply today for Chloe!

I know I am an English Bulldog, but I am lucky to have the boxer crew looking out for me!  My foster mom says I am a wonderful girl who loves to hang out and be lazy.  Walks are fun too as long as we keep them short so I can get back to the couch and watch some TV.  Since I want to be the Queen Bee, I have a picture showing off my crown.  I would love to be your only girl so I won't have to share my attention.  Apply today!!

12/21/13

Chloe is doing great in her foster home.  She loves her crate and can often be found sleeping in it.  Tonight, I finally heard her bark.  I was cleaning out the dog toy box and squeaking to see what toys still squeaked and she started barking and running around.  So I learned she likes squeaky tennis balls.  We do our daily walks and night run.  She definitely has a lot more energy now that she has lost some weight.  Chloe is doing really well meeting new people - she is very friendly with everyone.  Chloe has recovered well from her entropion surgery (her eyelashes were turned inward and bothering her eyes).  If you can provide a donation to help with her vet bills and previous boarding costs, please consider sponsoring Chloe.  She is also ready for a forever family of her own!

12/9/13

Chloe is now in foster! She is sweet and loves affection. Chloe does well on lead and is doing daily walks to help her lose a little weight. She is housebroken and crate trained. As her foster mom gets to know her, we will post more information. Apply today to adopt Chloe!

12/01/13

Chloe is currently in boarding until a new home is found.  One of our volunteers visited with her today and was able to take some new photos.  Chloe will be visiting her house this week so we can learn more about her and what kind of home Chloe will do best in.  We will post more information soon.  If you are interested in providing a foster or forever home for Chloe, apply today!

1/04/13

Chloe is still looking for a foster or forever home.  She would do best in a home familiar with this breed.  Included are some updated pictures of Chloe.

12/13/12

Chloe was adopted three years ago into a home with a male English Bulldog. Over the past month, Chloe has been bullying the male dog in the home and the family has decided to return her to rescue. Chloe has been living with children ages 8 and older. She would do best in a home without children or with children old enough that the family can commit the time needed to work on proper training.  Chloe is looking for a home that is experienced with this breed and understands their health and behavior needs. Apply today if you can provide a foster or forever home for Chloe!

Meet Chloe and Brutus! They were surrendered to AABR so that they may find a home that has time to raise them appropriately ensuring the necessary training, health care, and socialization.

These adorable 11 month old English Bulldog puppies are quite the duo. They’re loving dogs who were happy to allow us to give them a day of beauty. Both were perfect while they got bathed and had their eyes and ears cleaned. We couldn’t have asked them to be more cooperative. Brutus and Chloe are currently living in a temporary foster home; however we’d like to get them into another foster home – or better yet a forever home – as soon as possible.

They’d like to have a nice cool house (preferably air conditioned) and a lush fenced in yard in which to romp. Additionally, these two are in need of some basic obedience training and socialization with other animals. We’d like to see them placed together, however we will separate them if it allows them to find their ‘dream’ homes sooner.

Chloe, a white female with some freckling who is slightly taller than her brother, is a sweet and goofy girl. She doesn’t take life too seriously. Having gotten all dolled up, she promptly decided to show her gratitude by throwing herself into the grass and rolling around for quite a while. When we pulled out the brush she was happy to allow us to brush her all over, rolling from side to side to ensure that we got both sides evenly. She wanted nothing more than to be close and spend time with us.

Both Brutus and Chloe are wonderful dogs and will make wonderful permanent additions to your pack.

Note: Dogs with wrinkles, especially bulldogs, require daily cleaning to avoid infections.  This is a job that you must commit to, to properly care for these pups.

If you are up to it... won’t you consider giving these two the loving home that they deserve!?!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read our Adoption Procedure, by clicking on the link at the top of this page, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.
