Our goal is to get Spike a foster or forever home by Christmas!  He will soon be at the kennel four months and Spike has watched so many others arrive and leave for their homes.  He is a sweet and friendly boy - Spike has done really well with every new person he has met.  He enjoys going for walks with our volunteers at the kennel.  Please give Spike his chance at a home and apply today!

We can't believe that this handsome boy is still waiting at the kennel. He is a happy go lucky boxer boy who would really like to find a foster or forever home - he has spent way too long at the kennel already. Spike had the opportunity to play with a laid back girl at the kennel, and he did really well. Someone is really missing out on wonderful guy. Apply today to offer Spike a home!

A month has gone by, and Spike is still waiting at the kennel for a foster or forever home. This friendly, exuberant boy really needs a home of his own. Spike needs an active family who will provide exercise and leadership for him. He is a typical young boxer boy - he loves to play, needs some manners, and gets along great with everybody he meets. Please offer to foster or adopt this handsome boy!

Spike is an outgoing 4 year old boxer boy who lost his home because his owners no longer had time for him. Spike loves attention and is friendly with people. He is very strong on leash, and will need some work on his basic manners. He does know how to sit and he seems to really want to please people. Spike would benefit from a fenced yard to run and play in. He traveled well in the car on his transport. Spike is now at a kennel and in need of a foster or forever home. Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.  

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.  

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.
