8/11/12

It has been six weeks since Giada arrived at our boarding kennel.  She is still waiting for a foster or forever home.  Giada has always lived in a loving home environment, so she is very confused at the kennel.  She needs a fenced yard where she can run and play.  Giada also needs to be in a home by herself or with a dog her size that can tolerate her energy level.  If you can help Giada by offering her a home, please apply today!

7/5/12

Giada is currently at our boarding kennel and in need of a foster or forever home. She should be placed in a home with a standard fence and no small dogs. Giada previously lived with a male boxer, who she did well with, but she needs a home that can maintain strict rules and boundaries with her. Giada is an intelligent and high drive female.  She would benefit from a home that is willing to continue obedience training with her. Giada is very sweet with people and loves meeting our volunteers at the kennel when they go to walk her. If you are a good match for this beautiful girl, apply today!

6/24/12

Giada was adopted in 2010, but is sadly being returned to rescue. During the past several weeks, Giada has become increasingly dominant with the small breed dog in the home, to the point where they can no longer be in the same room. She has not displayed any problems with the male boxer, who is very easygoing and passive. Giada will not be placed in a home with cats or smaller dogs.  She is an energetic girl who would do best in an active home with a secure place to run and play. Giada is crate trained and housebrkoen.  She is very affectionate with people.  Giada's current family is heartbroken, as she has been a wonderful girl for them the past two years.  Giada is in urgent need of a foster, as she is currently in a boarding kennel.  Please apply today to foster or adopt Giada.

3/2010 - Adopted

1/31/10

Giada is a sweet and energetic 2 yr old boxer girl.  Her owner was able to make things work to keep her when she was first placed with rescue in June, but she is now going through a tough family situation and is being forced to move again.  Giada's owner has contacted rescue again for help in finding a wonderful, forever home for Giada.  She has always lived with multiple dogs, so we would like to see Giada placed into a home with another dog. She is housetrained and would benefit from a fenced yard to run and play. Apply today if you are interested in fostering or adopting Giada!

6/8/09 -

Giada and Mija are being surrendered to rescue because their owners are moving into an apartment and would like to find them a good home that can provide them with the attention they need.

Both girls were purchased as littermates in Japan as puppies, and they have always lived with multiple dogs. For this reason, we would like to place Giada in a home with another dog to run and play with. She is an energetic young girl and would really benefit from a fenced yard and an active home. Giada has never lived with children. She is crate trained and very friendly with people.

Apply today if you are interested in adopting Giada!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read our Adoption Procedure, by clicking on the link at the top of this page, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.
