was adopted in May 2008, but is being returned to rescue due to financial
reasons and a change in family circumstances. His current home indicates
that Paulie is a really sweet boy - he just loves to be with people. Paulie
used to participate in doggy daycare before his family moved. He is
currently living with
Macey (a 3 yr old female who is also available for adoption), indoor
cats, and two children (ages 2 months and 14 months).
Paulie knows all of his basic commands. He is completely housebroken and
also crate trained. Paulie does get nervous with loud noises and unexpected
moves. He would do best in a quiet and calm home. Paulie is good with the
children, but can be nervous when they get noisy. He is happiest when he is
laying by your feet. Apply today if you can provide a forever home to Paulie!
5/2008 - Adopted!
Meet Paulie, a 44 lb. bundle of love. He was born on
January 21, 2007. Paulie has been at the SPCA since the end of February. His
parents left him there when they found out that Paulie was suffering with
Demodex mites. His Demodex is now almost cured and his hair is starting to
Paulie was brought into a foster home on 4/1/08. He is intact. The
doctor wants to wait until Paulie puts some more weight on before neutering
him. We don't know about Paulie's past but when we first got him he looked
pitiful, his skin is still scaly in some places and he looks like skin and
bones. He has a good appetite, so he should have no trouble "packing on
Despite Paulie's heath issues (ALL TOTALLY ON THE WAY TO
"CURED") he is a typical Boxer. He loves to play with toys, he has one that
he has been carrying around with him for the last 3 days. He is intelligent
but at the same time goofy. He loves to curl up on a chair with his humans.
He is housetrained. Paulie knows how to "Sit", "Wait" and "Outside". He is
getting along very well with all the other dogs , he LOVES playtime (second
only to mealtime!)
