Bosley has been with us for a month and he's blossomed into a well behaved, obedient, playful and affectionate boxer boy. He's been to a few outreach events and is a shining star every time. He loves meeting new people and other dogs, big and small. He's very exuberant and fun, fun, fun! His basic training is coming along nicely and he's very ready to have a home of his own. His ideal home would have a large fenced in yard, older kids or no kids (he has knocked kids over unintentionally at petsmart when meeting them!- they all seem to think it's super funny when he bowls into them and licks them all over!), active people to take him for walks/rollerblading/hiking and a home with a lot of love to give since he's got such a gentle soul.

Bosely is crate and house trained and easily gives up his food or bones to me when I want them. He's been having some allergic reactions- this time of year that's pretty normal - so his new home will need to be attentive to this and make sure he's given what he needs to stay comfortable and non-itchy.

Bosley is very ready for a home that will keep him forever- his new family will be lucky to have him!!

Bosley is such a great, energetic boxer boy. He's got such an adorable face and is very affectionate to everyone he meets! Bosely would do best in a home with a large fenced-in yard since he enjoys running outside so much. He enjoys learning and has quickly picked up a few basic commands. He'd love you to take him to obedience class! He's a wonderful dog to have around so apply today to adopt Bosley!

3/10/08 -

Bosley is a very high energy Boxer boy that is being surrendered because his a family member had a stroke and they are afraid he will knock her over.  He has spent too much time cooped up with no exercise.

Bosley is housebroken, good with people, and just neutered. He is doing well at the kennel with other dogs. He wants to play play and play some more so will need some good leadership and training,  and an active home willing to make sure he gets enough exercise.  This is a must for Bosley. He is ready to go and waits patiently!

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please first read the information on our Adoption Procedures, then fill out an online application.

Boxers and Applicants are not matched on a first come, first served basis. Not all applications are approved. On average, it takes between a week and 1 month to adopt a Rescue Boxer to an approved applicant, depending on your personal circumstances and flexibility.

Matching Boxers suitable for placement with younger children, other dogs, cats, and special needs, yours and theirs, increases the application review time and adoption time.

And yes, we realize that the Boxer you may have your heart set on, may be adopted before you're approved.   Should your first choices all ready found their forever home, we want you to advise us as to other dogs you are interested in at Adoptions@AdoptABoxerRescue.com .  Or let us suggest a few that we feel will match your home.  That is what we are good at.   And be happy for the ones that have been placed... and know that there are way too many fantastic dogs waiting in their place.

Our non-profit organization is wholly comprised of hard-working volunteers whose only reward is seeing our wonderful Boxers placed in loving, permanent homes and given another chance for a happy life. Our process may seem slow, but if you are patient, we will try to provide you with a devoted, loving companion - a Boxer.

We hope you feel that the right Boxer is worth waiting for.

Adoptions Fee: $300
