Keisha continues to do well. She has put on weight and filled out those
skinny ribs that were showing. She's anxiously awaiting her forever home.
She follows me around the kennel with those big brown eyes, and it's easy to
understand exactly what she's thinking. I keep telling her very soon,
someone very special will be coming through that door to take her home and
love her forever.

Keisha
had a blast at the pet expo. She wiggled herself into a knot, kissed lots of
faces, and stole the stuffed boxer dogs off the table whenever we weren't
looking. What fun!! We also found out that she loves to play ball. When a
child showed her a ball, she went into full alert mode. It was like, "This
is just what I need....a kid with a ball." She's a real little sweetheart.

Keisha is a young female boxer
picked up as a stray in a rural PA town and taken to the local shelter. The
shelter feels she was used and abused for breeding. She has some sores on
her legs that we are having our vet look at on Monday. They look like
pressure sores from laying constantly on concrete or other hard surfaces.
She spent the day with us at our
local pet expo and just loved everyone and anything. She is a doll. Dogs of
all kinds and people of all ages came over to see this happy little girl
smile. She is about 35 lbs. A white female with a brindle face. Keisha is
adorable. She will be spayed and up to date on shots. Keisha is super sweet.
You can tell she knows she is on her way to the best life. She walks well on
a leash and loved the attention from the people at the expo.
