02/07/06 - Boo Boo

Yogi here – reporting from Jelly Stone Park... and do we have a boy for you.  Boo Boo was turned into rescue because the person he lived with since he’s 8 weeks old moved and couldn’t take him along.  This is one fun-loving, happy, goofy, well-behaved boy.  He’s housebroken and does not need a crate (was left for a full work-day and the house was exactly as I left it in the morning – ok, so he doesn’t do housework!).  He apparently was not allowed on any furniture and is happy as a clam sleeping on a dog bed.

Boo Boo loves to play – he will play ball and tug rope and loves to chew on both hard natural bones and soft squeaky toys.  Boo Boo likes everyone – people, dogs, cats (well, he’s a little afraid of the cat), children, everyone!  He will alert you if someone comes to your house, but I think he wants to let you know how happy he is that company has arrived and there will be more people to love up on him.

Boo Boo knows sit, down, and shake hands.  He pulled a bit on lead, but once I started to walk him with a harness on, the pulling stopped.  He loves to go for long walks or runs and loves to greet anyone we meet on the street with a happy hello and wagging tail.

If what your home is lacking is an upbeat, happy, big silly boy, then Boo Boo is just the boy for you.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out an online application first.  Then e-mail the contacts below.  Be sure to include your full name, city, state, and area code in the subject line of your message.
