Baby Scotch is doing wonderfully here at his foster home!  We have 4 children and our own dog, and Scotch is a joy to have around.  He spends lots of time playing with the kids and wrestling with Lucy, our golden retriever.  He has free run of the house when we are at home and is crated when we leave the house for short periods of time.  We have been working hard on the housetraining and Scotch is doing very well.  When we go outside with him he will do his business right away because he knows he'll receive a treat!  Scotch is very smart and very food motivated, so training hasn't been too bad.  He does still have accidents in the house (to be expected) when we don't take him out often enough.  At night Scotch loves to sleep on the king sized bed with me and my husband.  He will sleep through the night on the bed without any problem.  He spends a lot of his day napping, and will seek out a soft place to  lay.  Usually the dog bed or a pile of laundry!  We call him "little might" because he thinks he is a full grown dog!  Scotch would be a happy addition to any home, but would be especially suited for kids and other pets as he gets along so well with everybody.  He loves to give kisses and knows his name, and he loves affection!  He is a mellow and happy little pup with a big heart, and you will need a very special home to get this great little guy!

12/07/04 - Scotch

Scotch has ended up in a shelter. This is only a 3 month old puppy. What a terrible thing for a young puppy. BUT along comes rescue and tomorrow Scotch will be in a warm home with another dog, kids, and responsible adults who will nurture him until we find his forever home!
